Kayak Adventures
A little magic on the water. Rent kayaks and explore the island’s pristine coastline. Keep an eye out for bald eagles, great blue herons, seals, dolphins, and even orca whales in the distance.
Moran State Park
Wild beauty in every direction.
With over 5,000 acres of lakes, mountains, and forest, you can spend the day kayaking, paddle boarding, hiking, or simply relaxing by the water. For breathtaking views, head to the top of Mount Constitution.
Hiking
Paths worth getting lost on.
Orcas is home to some of the most beautiful trails we’ve experienced.
A gentle 2.6-mile walk around Cascade Lake for a slow, peaceful pace
The 3.7-mile Mountain Lake Loop for something slightly more immersive but still accessible
A hidden cliff-jumping spot for the adventurous
End your hike with a swim — the lakes can be surprisingly warm in the summer.
Eastsound
The heart of the island.
Wander through charming, locally owned shops tucked into this seaside town. It’s the kind of place you’ll want to linger — coffee in hand, no rush at all.
Farm Hopping
Simple joys, done right.
Drive the island roads and stop at local farms along the way. Fresh goods, kind people, and a beautiful way to experience the community.
